WELCOME TO THE WORKING MOMS PLAYGROUP

As working moms, we are all busy bees balancing work, life, AND motherhood just to get by each day. Finding that balance in our crazy, chaotic lives can often feel difficult, if not impossible, to achieve. The WMPlaygroup understands that and is committed to both the professional and personal lives of all our members.

That is why we host regular kid-friend and mom-only events at a variety of times (mostly weekends and evenings) each month - to make it possible for busy worker-mom bees to more easily find and make meaningful connections with other moms within our local community hive - whenever busy schedules allow, of course!

CONNECTION

COMMUNITY

As a new mom, joining the WMP was one of my best decisions. When my world was upside down and my anxiety was enormous, the friendships I forged with other moms in my area gave me so much support and sanity. One of the things I loved about the group was that it existed even when life got in the way and I couldn't make it to an event. To have that kind of flexibility, knowing I could go when it worked for me was invaluable. I can't forget how important it was to connect with other women also juggling the demands of work and family, the shared stresses made it easier to navigate. While online support reaches so many and is so helpful, the live and local aspect was key. Being able to get together in person really made it so much better.

I loved being part of the Working Moms Playgroup. It was so refreshing to connect with women who understood the challenges of being a mom working outside of the home, through activities occurring on evenings and weekends so my children and I could attend. I met some fabulous women that I still connect with even now that my kids “aged” out of the playgroups. I love seeing familiar faces around town. I highly recommend the group as a great way to make friends that will last a long time - for you and your children!

The Working Moms Playgroup filled a void. I had just moved to a new town before the birth of my first daughter. I struggled to find “my tribe” until I joined. The group enabled me to connect with moms from so many different lifestyles and facets. I am happy to say I am friends with these moms to this day. This group gives opportunities to grow, change, develop and support others! All good!
